Breakfast times: 08:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Our quietly situated Pension Am Waldesrand with 6 bungalows is located high above the city of Manebach, in the middle of the Thuringian Forest, close to the city of Ilmenau. Our sportive guests can enjoy a comfortable atmosphere all year round. You can enjoy this unique surroundings during hiking tours, mountain biking or skiing. Moreover, our hotel is very family-friendly. Our double rooms are housed in bungalows. They are individually and comfortably furnished and are also ideal for groups or families with children. Ample space for children to play is also available. Your holiday bungalow (non-smoking) for 2 – 6 people is subdivided into a cosy living and dining area with kitchen, daybed, TV, one bedroom with double bed, one children´s room with double bunk bed, 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet. We also have 2 holiday flats equipped with living and dining area with kitchen, daybed, TV, bedroom and bathroom with shower and toilet. The Thuringian Forest is ideal for ski walking tours or cross-country skiing. A cross-country ski run is just behind our guesthouse. Oberhof is the winter sports centre of Thuringia. You can benefit from several sports facilities such as the biathlon centre, the Rennsteig Arena, the bob run, the luge toboggan run where you can go in for ice-rafting as well as the ski jumping facility Kanzlergrund & Waderberg.
